Ty's not coming home until the 29th of Dec., which made my mom and I really upset at first, but we realize he's the new kid on the block at his magazine, so he's gotta pay his dues and work over Christmas. They told him that Christmas Eve they get tons of mail and they need him and this other kid to sort it. I'm like riiiiiiiiiiiiggght. How moronic is that? Making a person miss Christmas with their family so they can sort the mail. Geez Louise.

I'm happy that Tom is going down to be with your grandmother in Charlotte. I thought about her a few weeks ago and wondered if anyone was going to be with her or if she was going to maybe come up to be with you guys.

Ohh, by the way, I just got tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil. I've been wanting to catch a show for years but they've never toured in the mid-south. But now they're gonna be in Memphis for two days and thankfully I got tix. I'm so pumped!

Yeah. She's has a great doctor, one of the top in the country for that laser surgery she had. I think it helps her to know that they really are doing everything that they can. Shanna's always been a tough one. If anybody can get through something like this, it's her.

Mitten State? I've never heard that, but we do look like one- Wisconsin and Michigan make a nice pair. We are going to stay here (in our mitten) for Christmas. My grandparents, Mike and Rudy, Shanna and Steve, and the madness that is our Catholic side, all live within an hour of Whitewater. Usually Tom comes home for Christmas, but he's spending this year with my mom's mom down in Charlotte. It's her first Christmas without my grandpa so Tom will be down there along with my cousin Stevie and his wife. Probably my aunt Cheryl too (she's in Georgia)

I'm going to New York this Friday. Wenxiao invited me out to spend a week with her, and then we're going to fly home together for Christmas. The whole thing feels very surreal at this point. I have no idea what we're going to do, but it should be fun :)

Well I'm glad to hear that the doctors are on top of it. You'll have to be sure to let us know how the Jan. C-Section goes.

Are you and your family traveling anywhere for Christmas or just staying in Wisconsin?
Oh yeah, and is Wisconsin called "The Mitten State"? I know that's random but I think I heard it on TV the other day and I couldn't believe I'd never heard that before.
