I feel like this is a huge event or something! It's like your haircut is comparable to the excitement of a Super Bowl game. The anticipation is incapacitating. lol...
But in all seriousness, I am excited for you. I think you're gonna be one hot mama! Scratch that and make it a "hotter" mama. :)

Seeing you everyday would be all kinds of awesome and so would seeing Deb.... and so would going to that Carp place you speak of. Am I mistaken, or is "carp" a type of fish? But I agree on loving small towns. You hate 'em when you're young, but when you're older and more mature you realize there's something truly great about them and that's why they're still around and everybody hasn't migrated to a bustling city.

This is very heart breaking, but one of my childhood friends had their 1 year old son die. The baby was born 3 1/2 months premature and he had all kinds of complications and was in the hospital for months, but he was finally at home and I thought he was doing better. It turns out he died in his sleep. I don't know for sure if he died the day of his 1st birthday or the day after it. That part doesn't really matter, but it's just sad.
This girl and I weren't really that close all throughout high school, but I still feel so upset for her. I'm probably going to go to his service...seeing as how they're not having a visitation.

On a much lighter note, my friend Sarah is coming to stay with me this weekend. Did y'all ever meet her... she's Korean. I'm almost certain y'all did. Anywho, it's her 21st birthday and I'm thinking we're gonna rip it up. Okay, that's probably mostly false, seeing as how this is Newbern and there's not much ripping to be had around here. We'll probably just go out to eat, have a few drinks, come back here and drink some more.

Yay from Dad, nay from Mom (doesn't think I can pull it off but the woman also said I couldn't go sans bangs to which I say HA!) Appointment's tomorrow, 2 pm. Will post keep you posted.

Nah ;) She's a lot like the people who didn't want me to cut it when it was super long- 'You have such *pretty* hair! Why would you cut it?' And I've been really supportive of her crazed little hair quest. Her hair was black with chunky blue highlights, but it's bled together so it's black, blue, purple, brown (her natural color) and little bits of blond from the bleaching. Looks awesome ^^

Could I maybe just see you on a daily basis? That would be *all* kinds of awesome. Whitewater is sadly lacking in the awesome. I could take you to the Carp! It's in Fort, but it's good food, good music, art, the people are awesome there- I may not want to to stay in Whitewater, but there are some things about small towns that I love.

I'll try calling again tomorrow for my haircut! *dances*

I personally think you can pull that haircut off, but I'm not around you everyday. So you may wanna cater to the people who actually see you on a daily basis. If they don't like it then maybe you shouldn't do it because you don't wanna feel like they're judging you all the time for having, what they consider, a wacky haircut. But you're Anna, you can totally rock that look.

I'm proud of you for busting out of your shell. It's always scary but fun to have group/party experiences.

Next time we're all together we should all drink. Now that we're all 21. *takes a bow*

Wenxiao's mom *is* crazy, that's why we became friends. She calls me when she's worried, when she can't get ahold of Wenxiao. And she's actually been really great about my art, very encouraging, something I *never* expected from her. I guess I'm not the 10 year old skank I used to be ;)

Oh my poor eyebrows... right now I *shade* them. Doesn't look half bad, quite a bit softer than what you usually get with a pencil, but I'd love to do something *better*. Love my eyes, love my pretty pretty eyes, they deserve nice 'frames' I'll have to look for this Browzings thing- sounds awesome.

The hair: you sure? I'm still superfreaked about it. Chali hates it, and admittedly that's made my general anxiety over going nearly bald that much worse. It would be nice though, cool during the summer, nice break from the styling.

Teensy bit? Nah! I'm Irish! Irish-German! No really, I was-still am- totally proud of myself for going. I went, I talked to people, had actual *conversations* and I ended up being one of the last people to leave. The whole thing was a huge departure for me, big big step in a the right direction. One little shot of Irish whiskey only goes so far ;)

Oh lordy now I don't remember what it said to me! Something quite like 'f! you' but fshizzled.
