lol I did know a boy named Dean once upon a time. He went to my church. My only lasting memory is of the rather spectacular sunburn he got on the paddle/portage trip. It was like a backwards raccoon.

You're so right about everybody learning the same stuff in the first few years. And at first I thought you were saying you would lose Dean and I was thinking he was some boy I didn't know about. Then I realized Dean is the name of your insurance. I'm brilliant.

Thanks for the kind words about my mom. *tear* :)

You know, I love animals so much I might just let one lick my face, tongue, brain, anything. I know that sounds totally off the reservation but I'm down with some au naturel animal lickin' remedies.

I'm pretty sure my house is about to blow down. It's storming like crazy outside and the wind is just unbelievable. We are actually having an underground storm shelter installed in two weeks. I'm REALLY excited. We need it with all the tornadoes we get here. It’s gonna be able to hold at least 16 people I believe. I can’t wait to be crammed in there with all those kids screaming and crying when a tornado comes. Yippee! Better than death though.

When a hug isn't enough, rugby tackle ^^

I'm thinking about going to Whitewater to start with and just doing their art program. The first year of all the expensive art schools, everybody takes the same basic courses. If I can do that at Whitewater it would be a *lot* cheaper and I could stay on my mom's insurance. That's one of the problems with looking at schools- if I leave Wisconsin, I lose my health insurance (Dean is only in Wisconsin) With all the medication and the doctors, I don't know how I'd pay for it myself as a student.

Flip a biscuit- I can almost hear your voice. Tell Miss Diane I'm thinking about her. She has a good heart, now we just have to hold out that she has a good heart. Too bad the one doesn't count as the other, or we'd have a lot less shitty people in the world.

I'll send Bailey. He has patented anti-germ, anti-biotic puppy kisses, they fix everything. Well.. obviously not the migraines, but he can't lick my brain. And I'm not really on board with *trying* to lick my brain...

Thanks for the rugby tackle! lol...

You should totally go to art school, but not an expensive one. Tyler learned the hard way that you don't have to go to an expensive art school to get good art training. He's out over $20,000 for one semester for going to SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) and he realized that they were all just a bunch of overpaid morons that don't really know anything. In fact, you don't even have to go to art school to be an artist. Unless you're doing computer stuff, which in that case you do need a little school. ;)

I thought I was gonna flip a biscuit today when my mom's heart attack doctor person (that's the official name they're all going by these days..haha) called today. I thought they were going to tell her something bad showed up from her test. Turns out they just needed to reschedule her for another appointment.

I've had this raging sinus infection for almost 2 weeks and it's getting on my last nerve. Boo.

WHITNEY!!!!!! *rugby tackles* You're back *hugs* and still as awesome as ever. Totally agree with you on the Damien issue.

And oh my fleaping pete Mal is SO CUTE! Don't tell my family, but I think he's cuter than Anna Kate. And wow, we have a lot of babies floating around now. It's very strange. To me anyway, I'm used to being the youngest in the family so babies haven't happened in my family in a *long* time- not till Anna Kate.

I'm really glad your mom's test went well, Whit. She is such a nice lady. The heart attack must have been scary, however minor.

That's so awesome for Tyler! I'm trying to get my act together and go to art school. It's all a little intimidating (and expensive! Anna doesn't need $80,000 in college loans to pay off!) I remember seeing some of his stuff when I came down a few(several) years ago. Can't for the life of me remember what it looked like, but I know I liked it ^^

And you! Going to school, that's awesome! I'm really proud of you :) Taking a break is totally understandable, you've been through a lot. It's good to hear it's getting better, especially with your dad. I know that whole thing with him was.. shitty beyond words. Having you back here talking, knowing you're doing better with your dad *hugs* I've missed you so much. Missed you happy. You *deserve* happy.
