Actually getting your wisdom teeth out doesn't hurt at all. I don't even *remember* it (sure sign of good anesthesia ;)) It's the next day that it starts to hurt. I think I have a dry socket, though, which isn't normal, and that's making it a lot worse for me. Some people can't eat much after, but I only had them on one side (hence lopsided) I've been chewing on the right for a week now - the right side is getting tired. Still a lot of oatmeal and bananas and other such soft stuff. The swelling has gone down a lot but the bruise is kinda nasty. It varies based on who you ask (my parents: not that bad; everyone else: OMG!) I noticed today it's spread to the corner of my mouth. Lovely. Blue really sets of my lips? Jaw is all purple and yellow, ich.

Had a nice, weird, busy day to day. Nice that I got a lot done: sent back a present, deposited a check (nother present) registered Bailey (he's not an alien anymore!) picked up his heartworm medication and went to the grocery store. I'm pretty sure that explains the busy too (for me, anyway) The weird... I got to the bank- and couldn't remember my account number. I'm so used to using the deposit slips from my checkbook that I forgot where my number was (yes yes I know) so I left without actually *doing* anything. Went back later.

Then I went to the city building to pick up Bailey's license, started to pull into the parking spaces in front and WHOOPSIE those weren't for me. Almost parked illegally in front of a *police station*. Oh yeah, GENIUS here. It gets better.

When I got to the vet, I pulled into the parking area and tried to go between a station wagon and the little grassy area. Very bad idea. Not enough room. And oh yes, have to mention that the grassy area? It had two giant rocks. Anna went OVER the rocks (proving my baby really *is* an SUV) thought 'CRAP! That did NOT WORK!' and backed OFF the rocks. And... there was someone behind me so I *had* to park illegally, the handicap space was literally the only place I could go. My baby is okay (I checked multiple times) but I was sitting there, *laughing*, half hysterical. I'm convinced the guy in the other car must think I'm nuts ^^

At the grocery store a lady talked to me about my boots. In the middle of the cereal aisle. For no reason. This was my second crazy/bag lady encounter this week; yesterday it was a conversation about the 'cold' weather (it was warm) as we crossed the street.

I'm finding that crazy people conversations are helping me with *actual* people conversations. When you can be pleasant and intelligent to someone who may well have been talking to a *tree* 5 minutes prior, normal small talk is EASY (yes, we had a tree lady; no, I don't know- well, much else but the tree stuff)

Have to go eat dinner now. Love to all! Forgive my lack of spell-checking :/
