I really didn't want to make this post because I didn't want to talk about school. I was... afraid, ashamed, embarrassed. And then it hit me, Who are you talking to? You guys aren't going to judge me, you're not going to make me feel bad about myself. You're gonna love me just like I love you, and wow that makes it easier to do this.

So no, no school right now. The whole Chicago thing fell through: long story short, Wenxiao got a job out in Connecticut (she'll be living in New York) I have that option to move out there in a few months, but I'm not putting any pressure on myself this time. Truthfully, I'm just so happy for her because I know how much it means to her. She wanted to be out there, it's a great job, good pay, and it's getting her out of a job that she hated. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll wise up to the fact that her heart isn't in finance, it's in music, and she'll go after Broadway. A girl can dream.

I do have art. Umm. I did the art show back in May, won for Best Adult Amateur and Popular Choice. Right now I teach art to a homeschool girl on Fridays. I love it, we get along wonderfully, and she really lets me be me. Her mom adores me so I've gone out to movies with them a couple times - it's more of a big sister relationship sometimes, than teacher/student. But she's a vibrant girl, incredibly intelligent, silly, and just unabashed.

Tai chi is still Thursdays. I didn't go tonight because I'm not feeling that well. Very drugged up, but still not feeling that well. Usually I'd go anyway, but the combination of tornado weather+sick+medication+driving=very very dangerous. I nearly killed myself driving home once and that was without the sick/medication part of the equation. But I do love it enough to brave the weather. And sweat to death to the point where the muscles in my legs are shaking so badly that I can't bend them.

Did I mention it's fun? It is. I haven't had a cold in years. If I didn't have migraines, I would be in perfect health (lol nice sentence)

I get to teach in that too. It's a little different, though, because I'm the youngest person there. Andy's about my age, and the only guy I could possibly date (the rest are 35+) so no, Whit, sorry to say I'm not dating anyone. Sometimes men flirt with me, but it's a little unsettling coming from men that old. Especially since a lot of people think I'm so young.

I need to post pictures of me. My parents had a church cabinet meeting here tonight and I had three different people say something about my hair. I got it cut when I went down to Chicago to see Wenxiao. The longest layers just barely go past my chin, but I really rather like it, it's very light.

Anyway, Bailey says hi. He says hi to Dutchers from a distance. Despite a neighborhood cats attempts to befriend him, he still doesn't quite understand what cats are. And I'm not willing to chance it. He is good with babies, though :)

Virtual tour! Photobucket resized some of them at random so. yeah. Some pictures are tiny.

Master bedroom. The double doors lead out to a deck that's shared with the living room. The door on the left leads to the master bath.

The fireplace is shared by the master bedroom and the living room. I'm not a big fan of that, but my parents don't seem to mind.

The living room leading into the sunroom with one of many windows looking over the lake. The doors on the left lead onto a small deck that's shared with the master bedroom.

Taken from the kitchen you can see the stairs to the basement and the door to the master bedroom on the left, the tray ceiling in the dining room, and the living room leading to the sun room. Lotsa rooms!

Kitchen! My mom and I aren't overly thrilled with the appliances (not fans of white or electric) or the counter tops, but it's nice and big. In the first picture I'm standing in the breakfast nook (no pictures of that) which is right next to the laundry room (or that) You can see the desk in the corner of both pictures too.

And this would probably be your room if we get the condo. You get your own bathroom! Go you!

Open door in the middle is the stairs up to the main floor. The door on the left goes back to the storage area. Just right of the stairs is the lower bedroom and the hallway to the bedroom. This picture was taken before they carpeted the floor so there is carpet now.

Same room, different view. Basically you can just see the stairs better.

And now the pretty window on the opposite side of the window. They face out to the lake, very pretty, very bright. During the winter you can watch the kids try and kill themselves sledding down the hill. I know. I was one of them ;)

Downstairs bedroom. Very weird shape. Will probably end up being mine. Starting to get hungry... more later.

So behind. I hate it when I get sick, completely throws me off. I'm still really not feeling well (nothing like vomiting to start the morning off right - did you have morning sickness, Deb?) so
I'm going to wait on tackling a proper reply. I'm just happy you're back, Whit. Saying I missed you doesn't even begin to cover it.
