One of our family friends recently separated (they'll be divorced soon) My mom works with the man, Greg.

Greg wants to be Kathy's friend. He has no intention of going back to her, but he's a nice guy, they were together a long time, so he feels like he should try and maintain a friendship.

My mom had to convince him that wasn't the best idea. Because of his friendship, Kathy believed she had chance. That wasn't fair to either one of them.

It might be the same way with Janie. Keeping her as a friend, even with you there, could be leading her on. Or it might make her feel like she has a say in his life. But she doesn't anymore and it's not fair to you to let her think she does.

It may not seem like the right thing, but taking some time away from each other, to set up separate lives without any interruptions, is probably the best thing for everyone. She needs to move on too. Bitchy as she is, if she gets a life of her own, she won't be such an annoyance in yours.

Switching to Justin.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. He came around the corner toward our house too fast, lost control, overcorrected, and that's how he hit the car in the driveway. The skid marks are still on the road. What scares me the most is if the car hadn't been there, he could have hit our neighbor's house. That corner room is their bedroom; they were sound asleep when the accident happened. If that car hadn't been there, they could've been killed. He could've been killed.

The whole thing just makes me sick.

Justin left a note the day after the accident apologizing. I told my dad not to believe him. I ended up telling my dad a lot about Justin, about the other little run-ins with the law he's had and the people who stuck up for him. I watched him screw them all over and yelled at him every minute, for all the good it did.

My dad talked with the insurance maybe 4-5 days later and Justin still hadn't filed a claim.

I was watching Save The Last Dance the other night - the 'bad kid', the one that goes to juvee for the other guy. His name is Malachi ^^ Not our plan for Mal! But I thought it was neat to see the name.

Oh! Mal is cool...he's got quite a few nicknames...Webb calls him Deuce, Mom calls him Chi...I call him my little man. lol

Damn, you are really good at weeding through and understanding my babble...you are absoultely correct...I have no reason not to trust him, he's never done anything to make me doubt him the least bit...but it's just weird.

Janie is...difficult. She makes it her life's work to get back at him for leaving her, but he doesn't see it, he tries to be friends with her, and she just screws him over again. He gets pissed off and she disappears for a while and then she calls and boom, they're friends again. I would rather if he didn't talk to her because it makes me feel like she's a part of us, like she's in our relationship. I think that she just talks to him to pry and make things difficult for us because she knows it'll bother me and I can't stand her. I've mentioned it to him before and he thinks I'm insecure or that I don't want him talking to her because I don't like her or maybe I'm jealous. Not true. I know he loves me, it just bothers me that he lets her walk all over him. I let him talk to her and I know that he's not going to give a rats ass what she bitches about or what drama she tries to start because he just wants to be civil with her...but still...It's weird. It's become a sore subject and I gave up on trying to talk to him about it. When I told him about her latest attempt, he got pissed and said that he would handle it, so we'll see.

I would kill him. Him being Justin of course. What the hell was he doing drinking that much in the first place and driving, my God someone could have been killed! I mean, its a driveway!! You, your mom or dad could have been outside getting something out of the car!! That really pisses me off that someone who knows your family, and you could be that stupid! A stranger is a bad thing, and very very stupid...but he KNOWS y'all...

Why is it taking so long for your dad to get a new car? And has Justin even tried to explain or apologize?? Yepp...I would kill him...slowly... for putting my Wisconsin family in danger.

I genuinely did not understand that paragraph *hides head* This is what I *think* I got out of it:

Janie claims she spent time with Webb.

Webb denies this.

You don't know what to believe because it seems odd for her to make such a claim on his page.

Webb explains that his life is about you (and Mal) now.

You feel a little paranoid.

You think Janie is purposely being a bitch and putting you on the defensive with Webb.

Am I even close? Mostly I want to know what your 'policy' (for lack of better word) is toward Janie: are you against Webb seeing her, period? Or do you recognize that you can trust Webb (even if you don't trust her) and let him make his own decisions concerning Janie? I'm curious, indulge me. I remember meeting her, briefly - she didn't like you much then either.

Speaking of exs, the Justin thing:

Back on July 5, a drunk driver hit my dad's car where it was parked in our driveway. No one was hurt, but the drivers car was totaled, my dad's might be, and our mailbox and all the greenery around are completely torn up. It was lucky, though, that the car was there or the drunk driver would've hit our neighbor's house. The corner room of the house is the master bedroom. They were sleeping at the time. Someone could have died.

The driver was Justin.

I had to talk to the police. He asked me if Justin was suicidal, vengeful - they couldn't believe it was a coincidence either, but... we broke up over a year ago! I've spoken to him twice in the last year, that's it. But there are so many little things that don't add up: they said he was working at a group home nearby - Justin has no sympathy for people with disabilities of any kind. Sometimes he's just plain *cruel* about it, I can't imagine him working around them, *helping* them. His blood alcohol was *2.5* the legal limit. I won't say he never drove with alcohol in his system, but it was one beer, maybe two, never anything close to this. And the crash... of all the places he could crash, what are the chances it would be here?

My dad's car still hasn't been replaced, which really pisses me off more than anything. I have no car, my parents are constantly juggling stuff back and forth between the cars - our back porch has been completely taken over by all my dad's EM stuff, it's ridiculous. He can't keep it all in the Pacifica and still use it as a family car. He doesn't say anything, but I know it's getting to him. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't snap Justin's neck.

He said he would have if it had been the Pacifica.

But yeah, that's my fun happy news. So watch where you park. Apparently driveways aren't the safe havens they used to be.

ps. is it okay that I call him Mal?

Score! Thanks to Dad for the Hoowa!! Malachi loves the camo blanket...it's warmer than all the other ones! Before I start rambling and forget....

213 Robitaille Rd
New Iberia, LA 70560

and thats Mom's address, so it's a keeper. I don't think she'll be going anywhere any time soon.

So I refuse to put Happy Birthday wishes on here for Buggy...She's gotta get her butt on here and talk and get her wishes!! I'm being stubborn, damnnit! So Ha!

Umm, I don't think you told us about Justin, or your parents moving...why are they moving across town?

Webb likes rugby! I never really thought to ask him, but we were watching TV a few weeks ago, and a girl on MTV's Made wanted to be a rugby player and he started talking about how cool rugby was! I was like ok, wow...Anna loves you now. lol

So I'm having ex-wife problems...Webb's is the devil! She makes it her life's purpose to try and start shit with me or cause problems for us. Webb and I got myspace accounts like forever ago, and never really did anything with them, cuz we thought it was pretty dumb, but lately, we've been using them because I can put pictures up for his brother and sisters to see the baby and keep in touch with his family and people I haven't seen in forever, or since high school, so cool, everything was fine. Well, Webb's got a job working offshore for the same company my dad works for and he's out 14 days, then he comes home for 7. One of his friends from TX sent him a message asking him for advice (so he says) and he blogged about missing a chance and being too late to get back with someone you really love and bad timing, shit like that...well Janie (the she-devil) commented on his blog and wanted to know if that had anything to do with a conversation they had like a week before...I was like wtf?? Then she commented on his page, telling him how much she enjoyed the time they had spent together and she missed him already. I asked him about it and he said not to worry about it, she was just trying to start shit. I don't have any reasons to not trust him, but it just seemed kinda weird that she would lie and say that they've spent time together on HIS page, ya know? He said when he gets back in, he's going to handle it and he went on this big "I'm with you, we have a child together, we're getting married" kick, but like I said...it's just weird. I'm leaning more to the fact that Janie puts me on the defensive because I know you aren't supposed to hate people, and I don't...it's a really strong word and you can't take it back, but I honestly hate her...she's done nothing but make my life difficult...they've been over for over 2 years...damn, let it go!

Tell me if I make since...tell me if I'm overreacting...tell me if I'm crazy!!

I love you and I miss you so much!
