(all written last night)

I know, I know. My whole logical side was like, and you have to imagine this in a man's English accent - 'they're both running all over the place, moving out, moving in, traveling. They probably don't have internet, they may still be in orientation, hell! They may be in *school* It's okay.' But the emotional side is still a little hurt. I mean, right after I left you went to Nashville or whatever with Jennifer (right? Not too sure on that) and Tyler went to Alabama, your mom was up in Chicago. Mr. Deborah's dad (I love the name!) and Eric moved to Texas, Deb and the rest of her family went on a trip there, and they were moving *then* Deb was moving up to school... the time since our trip, for you two, has been the definition of chaos.

A Dr. Phil breakthrough? Well... I'm sure he'd like to take credit for it,. But it was all us. I felt so comfortable around the two of you, it was amazing. I wanted it to steal you away and claim you as my seeing eye people just so I could take you home with me.

Dino's circling the breakfast nook. Apparently something wicked this way comes *hums the Harry Potter music* I could have Alfonso Quaron's babies, I really could (the director) Remember, go rent 'A Little Princess' and 'Y Tu Mama Tambien'. Two totally awesome movies. And watch 'Y Tu' at least twice, you get a lot more out of it when you're not so distracted by the (as Dale calls it) 'wang'.

I almost miss Dutchers, too. And oddly enough, I'm not being sarcastic. Just because he's -

Must go get the Boodha! Be right back -

Dino keeps chewing on things. Normal puppy behavior, yeah, but he's used to living with his brother (and his sister till recently), 3 rottweilers, a Aussie/Beagle mix named Dixie (adorable and sweet as can be, but so very sick) plus a whole butt load of cats. And two litters of puppies, but I don't think they were with Carrie (Dino's foster mom) for very long.

Yeah so, Dutch is bit 'adverse' to me, but I do like him. He's just a cat and he acts like a cat, and knowing that he was a rescue cat (I always assumed he came from a breeder, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense now that I think about it) makes me like him that much more. Plus I totally miss all of Deb's puppies.

And I totally know how she feels, taking care of a new puppy. It's so much *fun* (both sarcastic and non)

So Dino's my baby. I, we, hate his name, we're changing it, but for now he's Dino. We're leaning toward Bailey as a possible name, nothing else has even come close to clicking yet.

He's so adorable right now, curled up at my feet sleeping, but he just let some totally nasty gas. Ahh... the joy of the puppy. Cute, but pungent.

Umm.. Ooo! picture's at http://www.fighting-light.net/images/puppy.jpg

All of my LJ friends begged me to upload pictures and I figured you guys would want to see him too. By the time you visit he'll probably be huge, but he could stop where he is, we honestly have no idea. He's supposed to be an Aussie Shepherd mix, but he really seems to be more of a hound. His hair is short, he has a long tail and face, and so far has shown absolutely no desire to herd. Plus he did a perfect point (I'm oddly proud of this) I'd explained except I don't know how without hand gestures.
He doesn't give a rat's behind about bunnies and squirrels, which is weird but good, but then he'll watch the birds at the feeder and dig around in their bush. He adores people, all shapes and sizes, follows us everywhere wanting to be loved. He met a little baby today, Giovanni (too much name for such a teeny person) and got along great with him - Justin and I were walking, ran into his hair lady who was walking with her son, dada dada da. She said the baby was cranky before but he was laughs and smiles. She even walked away with the stroller backwards so Gio (Metro! We had to) could watch Dino. So cute.
Justin loves him and he's not a dog person *at all*. It's so great. Once we get him into some puppy training classes he'll be just fine. Right now leashes confuse the hell out of him as yesterday was his first day on a leash (before then was just two vet visits) He's piddled (such an O'Connor term) in the house three times. Once was sort of okay though because he was just so excited to see me that he couldn't contain himself (that was this morning. Ooo! She wakes up!) And the crate training. He was fine in one at Carrie's so it's just a matter of getting used to a new place, I think. Here he tends to bark if you leave him alone (the only time he ever barks!) He's a bit afraid of the dark, doesn't like to go into rooms unless you go in first, especially small rooms, but in two days it's getting better. Gives me a lot of hope. For my sanity.

I got him into the crate *crowd goes into hysterics* Hopefully that was the hard part.

Yay for getting the puppy and Yay! for the breakthrough on the trip. I'm so happy about both. But I am utterly and completely sorry about not writing sooner. My internet at home flipped a bitch and wouldn't let me connect. Then I had to pack all my crap for college. Then we had to move Tyler to Savannah all last week. None of these are sufficient excuses though for me, well us, making you feel unloved. The love is flowin' freely, believe me.

I've thought about you too everyday since this last trip. I was really blown away by how much different it was...at least for me. I just felt so much more comfortable and much more myself. It's truly great to hear that something clicked in you too Anna. Now we just gotta hear Deb's take on it. (Did you have a Dr. Phil breakthrough? hehe)

I love you both and miss ya'll terribly.

I moved into my dorm yesterday. Talk about weird. It's not as different as I thought it would be emotionally but it is extremely different living on my own. I mean, I have roommates, but right now, it's really just me. Kind of sad in a way. I miss my fam. Especially Dutch Boy. :)

I wanna know more about the pup Anna. And Deb. tell us what's up with you and your fam. and also your new move to college.

I love my girls! Talk to ya'll later. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

P.S. No way I had a dream about your parents, Anna, being in a video game last night. LoL....strange.
