I'm late. I'm scared. I really, really hate this game, and I know I'm probably just being paranoid, I'm not *that* late, but I'm freaking out just the same. Inside my head I am, anyway.

They - the chipmunks - dig a lot and when you have enough of them they can dig tunnels that cause problems. Like we have a path through one of our gardens and if they dug a tunnel under there then the whole thing could cave in. There were way too many of them and they were digging way too close to the house for comfort so we moved them all out. Heh. We were even nice and made sure to take them to places that had water.

I'm not moving in, no. It's just the three of them in a two bedroom. Dale and Justin are going to share, obviously, but until Dana gets from school for the summer they each get their own rooms. I'll probably be spending a lot of time there, though, since I spend all my time with Justin and Dana, and I don't know how that's going to work with Dale. Whenever I'm around him now all he does is complain about being bored and ignore me. In close quarters that'll be even less fun.

*smiles as Whitney is far more awesome than Michael Jackson will ever be*

That's kind of the thing, isn't it? Having no energy. It's like, exercising gives you energy but you need energy to exercise in the first place. I don't know what to tell you, I still have to force myself into it and I'm not all that successful. I do have a couple food things, though, if you want. Drink lots of water. It's good for you and it makes you feel full. Eat fruit, especially in the morning. It jump starts your metabolism and it gives you energy - yay! - like a sugar buzz without the sugar low - double yay! Green tea is also really good for the metabolism. I tell myself this often since I use it as an excuse to have another cookie ;) And Krave bars, best thing ever since they are yummy, yummy chocolate that's actually good for you, I shit you not.

Oh, concerts, I miss concerts! I have a Linkin Park shirt on! *blinks again at randomness* I need another shirt *mutters* Who else played? Like who was the opener/co-headliner? Did you mosh? Did you buy wildly overpriced but hard to resist concert stuff? I went to a Gaelic Storm concert a couple weeks ago and almost bought the flask. Yes, the flask. They had a flask engraved with the Gaelic Storm emblem, it was quite snazzy. I thought I'd use it to keep my water in. Heh. I should make alcoholic water *which* reminds me that in less than two months I WILL BE 21!!!! Absurd.

Deb, I love you and I'm praying for you and your fam.
XoXo.

I would rather adopt from a humane society too. You just need to put your foot down on those pups and tell your parents exactly what you told us. Bigolly, if you have to, make Justin take you, rescue those pups woman!
I'm sorry about the bunny. :( But what's the deal with the chipmunks?

Are you moving in too or is it just them? I'm assuming if I read it correctly it's just them, but I just wanted to make sure. As for Dale though, I wouldn't worry about him. Focus on the positive of having Justin and Dana near by. Simply tolerate and play nice, when forced too, with Dale. His negativity won't bring you down unless you allow it to.

I couldn't be more excited to hear about your interest in God. Talk about something rockin' the kasbah! I hope talking to them helps you with any questions you might have, but initially it's you who makes your own decision about Him. *Does a little moonwalk.....very little....as Michael Jackson is not a cool cat to copy*

Exercise. I would love to do it but I make the excuse of not having the energy, of which I really don't most times. I know something's gotta change so I'm just really gonna have to push myself.

2 awesome things happened in the last 5 days. First, I went to a Linkin' Park concert in Nashville and it was the best frickin' concert ever. Ashton and I had super close seats and met some really cool people along the way. Also, Sarah had her baby! She had a little girl, Hannah Grace. She weighed 8 lbs. and had a head full of black hair. I'm now an official-unofficial aunt! Wahoo!

Spring Break is moving into The Apartment. My boyfriend, my darling Dana and Dale are moving into their new apartment over Spring Break and oh isn't that going to be fun? Justin thinks Dale will be fine. Justin thinks Dale will adjust. Anna knows this is utter madness, Dale will do no such thing, as Dale is a royal ass and quite set on being one till the day he dies.

I'm thrilled. I'm sure you can tell. I actually am, though, since it means Dana here and Justin, my two favorite people under one roof, no parents, kids, Indie, crazy people shooting off mace...

I don't know what to say about your family, Whit. I really lucked out on the whole parent thing, even if they drive me nuts and hurt me at times, but I've seen a lot of friends go through it and I wish there was something I could do. Promise you'll tell me - us - if there is, okay?

I took Depakote, bastards never told me any of that... stupid.. I *hate* doctors. I'm all for the diet as long as it's healthy, make *sure* that it's healthy, okay? Please? Or you'll end up doing a lot more harm than good and we can't have that, we like you way too much. Have you thought about exercise? It's a pain in the ass, I still have to yell at myself to do it, but it does help a lot. I'm on a medication that's affecting my weight, too - it seems like all of them do that - and more than my weight it really just helps with my mood. I get sick and stuck here in this house, sitting on my ass, feeling horrible, and it's just depressing, no way around it, and doing something active helps. Gardening during the summer was the best, I miss that. It's finally getting warm up here, the snow's actually melting.

I'm a Queer Eye addict. I even make Justin watch it. I've also gotten him to watch What Not To Wear - Trinny and Susannah. I'll watch the American version, but my heart belongs to the BBC.

Justin and I will probably go see it, 'The Passion'. He's devote Catholic, blah blah blah, I've told that story. But being around him and Dana, and even Dale, has really made me look more into my own beliefs and I'm still trying to figure out where Jesus fits into those. I really want to talk to Dana about it, as a Jew, and I've already talked to Justin, but, like you said, the movie should put it on a different level than simply reading it.

The puppy search continues. My parents seem to be genuine, but at the same time I honestly feel like I'm not going to get a dog until I'm 30, if only because it will take them that long to make a decision. It's supposed to be my dog. Supposed to being the operative phrase. I really want another rat terrier like Clancy, but they're pretty hard to find unless you go to a breeder - ungodly expensive - or a puppy mill - just plain wrong. We want to adopt from a rescue group or a humane society and right now I'm completely in love with these little Sheperd mix puppies. There's three to choose from, male which my mom wanted, and they're in Milwaukee, a mere hour drive away. Once again, these dogs will probably be old, gray and dead by the time my parents make a decision.

I still have my squirrels, though, and they're growing more used to me. Our one and only bunny was hit by a car a few days ago and all of the chipmunks were transported out last summer. Zaida has yet to return, that I've noticed, she is a sneaky little thing - Zaida is a Northern Harrier, a bird of prey, that comes to our house all the time. She likes to sit at the bird feeder right outside the kitchen window and just watch. Never eats anything - she would eat mice, not bird seed - never drinks any water, just sits. Gorgeous bird.
