It's nothing like having your site associated with porn and other such smut, eh?

Well kids, how's it going? It's late. I'm up. I'm once again searching for a single ticket to go see Coldplay and gosh darn it I've found one. It's ONLY $140. These ticket brokers need a "swift kick in the ass."

Life's been pretty trying lately. It's kind of blown. But I managed to talk mom into letting me stay home Wednesday from school. Wednesday night/early Thursday morning we got snow and school got canceled. Friday did too. And since Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day we're off for that. So the extensive weekend is rockin' for ole Whitty.

Well, I don't really have much else to say. So peace to my home skillets for now.

Oh yeah, word of advice, go see The Hours with Nicole Kidman and her big fake nose. It's a truly great movie. I don't know if it will speak to ya'll but it definitely spoke to me.

Now people are searching 'Harry Potter actors fuck' or something like that... I swear.. and I show up! Eee... it's just creapy sometimes what a couple of random words chosen from a single page can end up saying...

Hey, that's pretty cool...

Here's the link to the counter. On the left, where it lists all the different things that it tracks, click on URL Address and it'll tell you the last 20 addresses that sent people to my site.

I have a tracker on it so I know how people got their, what kind of system they're running on, all sorts of fun junk like that. I remember on my old N Sync sites I had all these hits from the government (as in government registered computers) which I always thought was neat gee whiz. Most people seem to come in search of Tom Felton - aka Draco Malfoy - or Legolas. I also get hits from cliques and fanlistings that I belong to. It's all quite interesting, really.

Okay, Elephant Man. Let's see... 1. the Elephant Man is a person who suffers from a disease that disfigures him hence the name Elephant Man since he does somewhatly resemble an elephant. 2. There was a movie about a man with this disease which is where we get the popular phrase 'Elephant Man.' 3. You said I was cute and I made the comment that being cute was better than being mistaken for the Elephant Man. And if I have to type Elephant Man one more time... needless to say, I will not be pleased. Phew.

It's not the ARMY, dear. You can just say Army. Trust me, it's okay.

I don't know what to tell you. If you really think he has other options the only thing to do is make him think he has other options which I know is getting a resounding 'easier said than done' Because, quite frankly, it is easier said than done. Most things are.

Parents are people. People can be dumb. And blind. And just plain stubborn when they want to be. We forget that sometimes, that they're people, too. I know I do, anyway. My parents rock. I just felt like saying that and I know you guys like them so it's all good.

Damien's dad, on the other hand, needs a swift kick in the ass.

Oh...and no one ever told me about the Elephant Man...wtf?

Ohhh...ouch. Thats not good Mama...But how do you know what people are searching for to find your site? Are they e-mailing you or something? I was wondering about that when you said people were looking up porn.lol

Welllll, It's definite. Some higher power is WANTING to give me a nervous breakdown. Damien and his lil sister, AJ got in a wreck today. They were coming off of their street on to the highway and Damien didn't see the car coming because an 18- Wheeler was on the side of it and blocking it. The car hit him as he crossed the highway. They're all fine, just a little shaken, but the back of his van is really messed up along with the other guy's car, which happened to be a rental, and they determined it Damien's fault. So I'm coming down the highway and I see an ambulance and Damien's van in the median...Oh yeah. Went half crazy. They took Damien to the hospital, but let me take AJ to her basketball game...Why? I have NO damn clue, but they did. They couldn't get in touch with his Mom because she's a security guard, so I hauled ass to go tell her, then hauled ass back to pick Damien up from the hospital. They gave him some muscle relaxers and pain pills for his back because the x-rays showed a tiny bit of bruising, but they said he'd be fine...just really really sore tomorrow. I, of course, was a nervous wreck. He kept telling me he was fine, but I could tell he was more shaken then he was letting on. He's not going back to school. He got kicked out because his grades weren't good enough and his dad being this major perfectionist is really weighing on him. He's been looking for a job for about two weeks with no luck and I think his dad has convinced him to go active in the ARMY. He doesn't WANT to go in the ARMY...he wants to get a job and put himself through school. A school that he wants to go to...not one that his dad graduated from...not one that his dad loved...He doesn't want to live his dad's life, but shit keeps happening to make him think he has no choice but the ARMY. He's already called his recruter (sp?) and found out what day he can go and sign. I've begged and begged, but I don't know what else to do...I've even driven him around to fill out applications. I just don't want him to go in a do something else that he really doesn't want to do. He knows what he likes and he knows what he wants, but it just isn't seeming to work out for him, so he thinks he has no other choice. I mean, damn...there's nothing wrong with the ARMY, he'd get damn good benefits, and he'd get his college paid for, but with all this shit overseas, there's no guarantee he'll come back, and it's not what he WANTS to do...I just don't understand why his dad can't see that.

Well let me let you guys go. Talk later

Oh goody... people are searching for Peter on Google and coming to my site. Just what I always wanted, and, knowing my luck, it's one of his friends. Considering that all of his friends hate me, this is not a good thing.

Welcome.

i think coldplay are coming to milwaukee like the day after they are in nashville

but yeah, i hear ya anna and i thank you

I really must have missed something...Elephant man? What elephant man?

And I really got everything you said, Mama. It makes complete sense to me and I think that's what I needed to hear. All I can think to say is...thank you.

I Love You Both...Big Much.

Ahh, they're coming here, too! Also, I believe, in March. They're playing the Rave, but I'm not sure I'm going yet.

Thank you, the elephant man comment was supposed to be somewhat humorous.

Whitney.

Deborah.

BAD!!!

You guys know better and still you do stupid, stupid things. Pretty voices get wrecked by evil cigarettes! Pretty organs go kaplooey and you away and die. Ask Chad, he watched his dad slip away for a long time before he finally died. And Chad still can't quit. I'm supposed to punish... but I'm not angry, I'm not wanting to yell or scream or anything like that. I'm disappointed. I don't know, maybe it's stupid, but I expect better out of you guys because I know that you're better than that. Yes, I know or I wouldn't expect it. Wenxiao always said that I saw the best in people, and I do, but I also see the bad stuff. I'll still love you guys, faults and all, even when I don't agree with what you do. But... look at me. Look at how hard I have to fight for every scrap of good health that I can get, and here you are, just throwing yours away like it's nothing. It hurts to watch and it's not something I take lightly. Ask Chad. I've known him for more than two years, but he's only smoked in front of me twice because he knows that I don't like it. I will stop talking to you, mid-sentence, and just walk away. You have every right to smoke - you, Whitney, do not - and I have every right not to. That's just how it is.

If the emotional plea doesn't get you, and it's a sad thing if it doesn't, think about it logically. You're paying for your own death. You're committing a very slow, very drawn out suicide. Smoking has no positive except an enjoyment akin to cutting yourself to make yourself feel better. Maybe you do like it, maybe it does make you feel better, but it's false and destructive. It's also expensive, as Deborah already said. Expensive, dangerous, stupid, and quite possibly lethal.

Peter always said I was his reason for quiting. That he knew it was stupid and dangerous, but he just didn't have a reason, there was nothing to drive him. So pick something. I'd advise not to pick someone as Peter has gone back to partying hardcore since our breakup and I'd like you two to have a bit more stability. Do it for your dreams. Do it for yourself. You guys are amazing, please don't throw that away with stupid decisions and reckless choices, not when you know better, not when you are better. Because you are. I've known a lot of people in my life, and you two are by far among the best of them all. Remember that. I'm not here to kick you when you're down, I'm here to help you back up.

I'm also here for comic relief, emotional guidance, and the occasional bit shared intelligence. And friendship. Above all things, friendship.
