Lord, that sounds like every day for me. Life is so utterly boring when you don't have something that you
have to do everyday ie. school or work. I want a job! Hell, I want school! I just want
something before I lose my poor little decrepid mind completely!
My brother was home for Christmas (yay!) and he's trying to get me to start this game called Everquest. It's a fantasy game that you play online so like instead of always being you and the computer game it's you and literally thousands of other people, all playing at once. So the people you talk to, the people you play with, or even against, are real people. He tried to explain as much as he could - and trust me when I say that was
a lot - but I still don't get half of it; it's a really elaborate game. You have all these different things about just your character - your race, class, strength, weapons, etc. - and then you have all the different places you go to, the things you fight, the other people you play with... my poor little head felt like it was going to burst. Too much information, not enough understanding. I mean, he's rattling off all this stuff about dexterity and ticks and I am
so completely lost. I just kept nodding and saying things like 'yeah' or 'uh huh' and smiling occasionally.
As confused as I was - I know I don't understand a lot, but some of it does make sense - I'm not sure whether or not I want to start playing. Tom assured me that him and his friends would help me out since it's a group game, that way I can advance really quickly. But it's $50 for the games and like $13.95 a month to play online - I think Tom said the first three months are free, though. I don't know. I need to pay attention to my website and I already renewed it - $80 right there - so I don't really want to start something else.
I wanted to write more, but we're leaving for dinner - Friday Fish Fry at the Fireside, say
that 10 times fast - and I really need to go. More later!
