Well, good. Mutual feelings are always the nicest ;)

Thanks guys. I love you both

I know you don't want to, but I still think you should tell your mom. I'm really appreciating Albert right now, and I'm proud of you for telling him, that couldn't have been easy, but I stand by my statement. She deserves to know, Deb. But I love you, and I'm going to trust you to take care of yourself.

Deb, I'm really proud that you told someone. That's the first step. So we know that things aren't even close to being resolved but they're headed in a positive direction.....back to normalcy. Albert gets major points.

I love you Deb....I love you Anna
Aside from all the madness that's been occuring.......Happy Thanksgiving

I told Albert. He may not be anyone of huge importance in my life right now...but he's a friend, and he realized something was wrong from the very beginning. When I told him...he held me and let me cry and talk as much as I needed to. It's 3 am now, and I just got home. He gave me what I needed. I'm still scared, but he promised he'd do anything I needed. He even followed me home to make sure I made it here ok.

I'm not telling Mom. She has enough to worry about now and this wouldn't help. There's nothing she can do about it and she'll never want me to leave the house again. That would just cause problems between us.

I love you guys so much. I really want you to know that. You two mean the world to me, and it helps knowing that no matter how far apart we are, I ALWAYS have somewhere to go and someone to talk to. Thank you for that. You are my angels.

Love,
Deborah

You're not playing anything. You're not asking for pity, not playing up something small to get attention or affection; you deserve compassion. Tell them the truth. I know you don't remember much, or even anything, of importance, but you still need to say something. Some sick person assaulted you. Maybe that's all you know, but it's enough. You can't stay scared, Deborah. Because this will not go away on its own, that's not how these things work. You have to get through it and the first step in doing that is to talk to the people you love so that they can have some sort of understanding of what you're going through. It's hard to help someone when you don't know what's wrong, and keeping them in the dark hurts everyone. Trust me on this, okay?

And as far as playing the victim goes, YOU WERE THE VICTIM and it's 100% perfectly fine to need a hefty support beam of love and concern.

Deborah, sweet heart I am so sorry for all of this. When I read it I was in complete disbelief. But Anna's right, you've got to tell somebody. Even if you can't remember anything the fact that it happened has still got to be taken care of. You can't be living the rest of your life in fear of some sick twisted ass hole.
I know you're scared and shaken right now. I am scared for you as well. If Anna or I could come down there and be your body guards we would. But we can't. You need some form of comfort and protection right now. Don't let this take your life away. Tell somebody.
If there is anything that you can think for me to do. I'll do it. Anything at all. But you've got to do something for me........drag all of this out in the open. Don't let it become a nightmare that haunts you forever. I'm sure it's easier said than done, but you've got to force yourself Deb.
I love you...

I would, Anna...I SO would. His ass would be looking at steel bars right now if I could remember anything. Just something about him to help find him, but I can't. I don't know what he looked like, what kind of car he was in...anything. I just wouldn't know what to tell anyone.
I know that you're there for me, and that means everything...but I mean, what can I do against him, if I don't know anything? I'm very scared, and I know that eventually people will realize something is wrong because I won't go anywhere or do anything by myself. I just drove home from Morgan City (about 10 minutes away) by myself coming from Albert's house, and I'm sitting here shaking, but there's nothing I can do. Hopefully...it'll go away. It'll all go away.
I think I had another seizure the other night...when it all happened, when I got home. I've had three in the last two months, and that's more than I've ever had in a row like that. I don't know what's going on with me...but telling people? Playing the victim...I can't...I can't fight against what I don't know.

It'll all go away.

You need to tell someone and you need to tell them now. Your mom, the police, someone. Thank you for telling us, it means a lot, but we can only do so much. You need someone at home to know, someone who you can talk to, someone who can help. And the police... what that guy did to you is against the law and he should be punished for it. As much as I want to go into some rant about hunting him down and cutting off his balls with a grapefruit spoon - and I do - I'm not going to. I don't want you to be scared, Deb, and taking some sort of action against him, even if it's only filing a complaint, might be the best way to combat that. You've lived what? 18 years? And this has happened once. Once, Deborah. I hope to god it doesn't happen again, and the odds are in your favor that it won't, but I can't promise anything. But you can't spend the rest of your life scared. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, I'm here for you. Know that.

Sorry, guys, I've read everything you've said, but blogging seemed to be a lot harder than reading what my two best friends have been up to...There's been a lot going on.
I went to pick my brother up (Geoff...one of the twins) from work one night at like 3 a.m. He works at the gas station right across the street from Sonic, so I figured no big deal. I went inside to tell Geoff that I was there and that I was going to wait in the car because he still had a few things he needed to do before he could leave. When I walked back out, there was a white car parked next to my Mom's, but i didn't think anything of it. Some guy grabbed me as I was about to open the car door and threw me up against the building. He put his hand over my mouth and told me that if I said a word he would kill me. He was kissing on me and touching me and I was so scared I couldn't move. Then I heard the bell of the door opening and he took off running, got in his car and left. All i remember after that is Geoff asking me what happened and who that was. I told him that I thought I saw something, and I didn't know who the guy was, he was using the pay phone. I brought Geoff home and he kept asking me why I was shaking and why I was so quiet. I just told him I was cold. When I got home, I collapsed on the floor, and reached for the phone. I tried calling Damien, but his roomate said he wasn't home. Then I started shaking really bad and I woke up at 6 the next morning on the floor in the living room.

I haven't told anyone but Damien, I talked to him today, and I think he is worse off then me. He kept begging me to try to remember something...what kind of car it was, what the guy looked like, but I can't! I didn't see him, I just sat there with my eyes closed until Geoff came. I couldn't do anything. I haven't slept since then. I just sit there, scared to close my eyes and remember. I put on my nice lil happy face and go to work, but I won't go outside by myself, or even look across the street. I made Albert come with me to take out the trash, and when he asked me to walk across the street with him to go buy cigarettes, i just froze up. I don't know what to do, guys. I'm so scared.

Not that either of you care but we just played our first game/home game of the regular season. And oh yes, we won. We rock the casbah.

Yeah, they had this big opening in Minneapolis, but apparently there's some convention in China so he might be doing that, too. I swear, I could just kick him.

Sunday, November 24, 2002

Deb needs to visit this little thing more often. We dont' hear from her enough.

CHINA? fuck him
lol

Try an old CD case you don't care about, those break nicely. Or you could go the old WWF Smackdown! action with the family, little bonding there. Always a fun time.

Tom... I'm not sure what he's doing. In my family, I'm always the last person to know and most of the time I just don't get to know, period. Last I checked he was a waiter at Friday's or something, with an offer to work full time from the YMCA - he's on their board representing Minnesota. He also did some modeling thing for a hair salon so he might be going to China and, yeah, he's a bastard. Ba-ha-sta-hurd. Me? I'm too boring to bother insulting.

LMAO......Tom is a bastard. I hot bastard but still a bastard. I have been trying to convince my parents to let me go to England and Ireland this summer with the school but nooooo, not gonna happen. Gotta wait till you're older. Gotta wait till you can pay for some of it. Blah, fuck them. But didn't Tom drop out of college? So what's he doing now that he can just scurry off to the UK when he pleases?

Nope, the walls are just flat as can be. You know, you've seen them. But see, where I will probably punch the hole is in my closet and that is VERY textury. So I don't know. Maybe I'll just break a "good" glass.

Whatever! The life of Anna O'Connor does not lack pizazz (sp?). LoL.
You are the chica. You have had a more interesting life than A LOT of people.
It's just taking you a while to get back on your feet from being sick. When you eventually become president of some country and can fly to where ever you want at the drop of a hat, everything will be jiggy. You will hardly remember the time when Tom the bastard went to London. You will say, (in German, Russian kinda way)? lol, "Shit on London. Shit on Tom. Shit on the world. I am tha masta. Bow down to me!!!!!! MUUUUAHAHAAHAHAHAHA"

mucho amor

I have no idea. I think we're having it here, we usually do. The grandparents and my aunt and uncle will come, maybe my cousin, Shanna. Shawn - my other cousin - is probably staying down in Alabama with Tracy's family. Tom, the lucky bastard, is in England. London, more specifically. Did I mention he's a bastard? Well, he is. His life is interesting and exciting and I'm really, really envious of that because my life is boring and mundane. The only time anything even vaguely interesting happens, it's something bad. My life sucks and I hate it so there. I'm going to kick it in the balls and make it be good, damn it!

Punch that wall! Or not. If it's one of those textured walls it'll hurt like a bitch and rip your knuckles up, to boot. Not that I know about these things. Really. I don't. Absolutely nothing. Nothing at all.
